Silverwood Theme Park in Athol, ID

Awesome Roller Coasters
Rating: You Should Go

Silverwood Theme Park is located just north of Coeur d'Alene in Idaho.  It is reminiscent of Knott's Berry Farm in California, except that the rides are more fun to ride.  (Personally, I think the rides at Knott's are painful because they
jerk you around.)  The cost is $42 for adults and $22 for youth (7 and under) and seniors (65 and over).  One of the best things about Silverwood is the fact that admission gets you into the theme park as well as the water park.  We actually went after 5pm for half price (a discount offered every day at the front gate) and still had time to enjoy the water park before it closed at 7pm.  The amusement park stayed open until 9pm.  In that time, we were able to eat, go on two roller coasters, and would have had time to ride the train except it filled up before we made it to the front of the line.  (Note: The last train of the day fills up quickly.)  The food was great, the roller coasters were amazing (although not very many, they were just as good as ones at Magic Mountain), and the grounds were clean.  I would definitely go back.
