America's Largest Ghost Town in Jerome, AZ

Jerome is a tiny town a couple hours outside of Sedona, AZ. It's got a rich mining history and is valiant in the way it has continued to remain alive through fires and copper mines shutting down. The shops are fun to visit along the main street as well as some other local stops. It was a fun trip but it may not be worth a second visit. Still, I had a good time and would recommend going if you've never been.

Palatki Ruins - You Might Like It
The Palatki Ruins are ancient Native American dwellings on the outskirts of Sedona. For a country as new as ours, it's really interesting to see art and the remains of buildings that are thousands of years old. There is also a small dwelling made by a settler a few hundred years ago (seen below).

Scenic Sedona, AZ - Hikes

For all of Sedona's hikes, you need to buy a Red Rock Pass for each vehicle you park at the trail head. The passes cost $15 for a week (which is not bad compared to California 1-day passes). Once you have that, you're good to go.

Devil's Bridge Hike - You Should Go

This is a short hike (1 mile each way) but with quite a climb in elevation. The real trick is getting to the trail head. Most of the trip is on a dirt road. If you're driving a sedan, you'll probably need to park at least another mile from the trail entrance. We made it ok in
