Steamers Jazz Club in Fullerton, CA

Rating: You Might Like It

We wanted to go out for a spontaneous date night.  Nate had looked up jazz clubs and found Steamers Jazz Club and Cafe in Downtown Fullerton.  It was a small cafe (max capacity 91), with a stage taking up most of that space.  We
got there around 8:30pm and the band had just started playing.  We went on a Saturday when a Latin Jazz Band was playing, but they have different themes for different nights.  They serve food from appetizers to desserts.  The music is amazing and the food is decent.  It's a fun and relaxing time to spend with friends or snuggling with your significant other.

You can dress pretty much however you want (as long as it's appropriate to wear in public).  We saw people in sweatshirts and suits.  Because of the small quarters, you can expect to sit with people you don't know unless you go with in a group of 4 or more.  It's good to choose your night carefully.  Saturdays and Sundays have a cover charge of $8 a person.  On weeknights there is a 2 item limit per person instead of the cover charge and food is about $10-$15 a meal.  We'd definitely go again on a week night.
