Home of the Bozo Burger |
C&D Drive-In was our food stop from Oregon to Idaho. It didn't look like anything special, but there was quite a crowd around it. Apparently, it's known for its "Bozo Burger", but I still don't know what that is because there weren't any
descriptions or pictures on the menu and the line was too long for me to want to take more time asking the cashier to explain it to me. Instead, I had a small (1/3 lb) bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. It took 10-15 minutes for our food to come out, but it was worth the wait. The burger was good, but the fries were amazing! I love sweet potato fries, but sometimes they're too soft or super crunchy. These were crisp on the outside and light as air on the inside. The regular fries were just as good. The restaurant also sells fresh-baked pastries and souvenir shirts. For $6-$10 a meal, this is definitely worth stopping.
