Up close and personal with the Muppets' crew |
We just found out about the Envelope Screening Series this year and were kindly invited by some friends of ours. It's hosted by the Los Angeles Times and it's amazing. If you can keep an eye out for the tickets to be available, it is FREE. Each person can reserve 2 tickets
and that includes free parking, a free drink, and free popcorn per person. After the movie, there's an in-person interview of major people from the film, including the stars, director, and producer. We saw The Muppets and then watched an interview of Jason Siegel, co-writer Nick Stoller, producer Todd Lieberman, and director James Bobin (I was only 4 rows away from Jason Siegel - AHHH!::faint::). Even though it's free, there are more reservations than there are seats so it's good to get to the theater a few hours early. The 2011 screenings were held at the ArcLight Theater in Sherman Oaks from October to December. It's a great experience that you should try to be a part of.
