Inside the Moose's Tooth |
Rating: You Might Like It
The
Moose's Tooth is another great pizza place in Alaska. It has a ton of unique options, as well as some classics, and a huge selection of their own brews. The ambiance is cozy and artsy. There are paintings and beer bottles decorating the walls. The food is good and decently priced. One large pizza was
more than enough to feed 3 people (we had a lot left over), and we even had the option to split the pizza between 2 different types, which we did. We got half Pesto Chicken and half Santa's Little Helper. They also have
gluten-free options if that's something you need. I was surprised by how spicy the pepperoni was. It made Nate and my eyes water. I wasn't super impressed by the Pesto Chicken. Actually the best thing on the pizza was the steak. It was tender and flavorful. I'd probably just get a steak pizza if I went again. The beers were really good, though. If you don't know what you like, you can get a sampler to find out, or you can just get a sampler glass the try something if you don't want to commit to a whole pint. The
large pizza was about
$25, so it's a little on the expensive side. If you want something out of the ordinary, though, it's definitely worth the price.
