Party Idea #2: Minute to Win It

"Winning!"
When our zombie party was a hit, we decided to do another themed party.  This time it would be a test of skill based on the games of the show Minute to Win It.  Our friend looked up the games and instructions on the Minute to Win It website and picked 10 of them.  Then she asked each of us to bring some of the materials that would be needed for the games (most of which are household items).  We had a simple dinner of cows in a blanket (which is like pigs in a blanket but with ground beef instead of hot dogs).  Pizza or any other
food that's simple and you eat with your hands would be good.  You don't want to put too much work into dinner because so much goes into the games.  Then we got down to business.

Pulling tissues from a box with 1 hand.
We went through the games one by one, taking turns for each (since they're all supposed to be completed under a minute it really didn't take that long).  The only game that took a long time was the one where you have to maneuver an Oreo from your forehead to your mouth only using your facial muscles, so we had multiple people do that at once.  The games can get a little messy so it's best to do them on a hard, flat surface that is safe to get wet and easy to sweep up (maybe a garage would be best).  We also had a break and played a board game called Dicecapades, which still requires skill but without the prep.  This is guaranteed to give you a night of good, clean (although maybe not literally clean) fun with friends.

Food:  Pizza, Cows in a Blanket, or other easy finger foods and soda in cans (the empty and full cans can be used for games)
Games:  Backflip, Bulb Balance, Caddy Shack, Candelier, Cantageous, Face the Cookie, Go the Distance, Hangover, How's it Hanging, Junk in the Trunk, Ping Tac Toe, What a Racket, Tea Party, or any other games you like from the website.
