Rating: You Should Go
On our one year anniversary, we decided to take a short trip to Temecula. We stayed at Hampton Inn and Suites for a night. It was not the cheapest option ($130 a night) but it was very nice. The room was very clean and had
everything we wanted and more: a frig, TV, microwave, coffee maker, very nice smelling soaps, and a really comfy recliner. They even provide small toiletries at the front desk, like tooth paste or razors, in case you forgot something.
Even though you can't see Old Town Temecula from the hotel (or anything besides the freeway or parking lot, really), it is only a block away from the shops of Old Town. We walked there without any trouble, and we are not active people. The breakfast was a true continental breakfast. They had waffles, hot cereal, cold cereal, omelettes, pastries, juice, coffee, fruit, etc. They even had a large eating area in the lobby with kids television shows playing on TV (which could be good or bad depending on what you like, but we didn't mind it). The service was great, the rooms were great, the food was great. We would definitely go there or to any other Hampton Inn again.
